Unfortunately I am no longer working with SharePoint, so can't be of much help I'm afraid. You can keep up to date with my former employer's blog which may provide some help.

Like you, I am only an occasional blogger. But I'm interested in your observations regarding Sharepoint, scanning interfaces, bulk back-scanning etc as this resembles the project I am just starting on. I will look out for any further insights!

This is good stuff! I wish I found this a large number of documents were moved using the Explorer view to another library and all the version history was lost. I sometimes wish the Explorer view was not an option...

Thanks for the info!

What type of permissions do you need? I am logged in as the site admin but do not see the "Content and Structure" option?

fortunately for anydoc & our customers, for many years we have been able to generated 98-99.9% accuracy levels by using some very reasonably priced OCR engines. Handprint (ICR) is more difficult, of course, but there are many ways to increase its overall accuracy, as well, including the reference db capability (in item #1 above) that we have used within our solutions for at least 10 years. many of our customers process 10MM to 50+ MM (million) documents per year. if any of them got the results that you believe are attainable, they would have reverted back to key-from-image a long time ago.

spend some time with anydoc's solutions, our website, and/or our webinars. Kofax is not the gold standard of structured and unstructured processing for data and document capture.

Just please let me comment about your remark concerning our pricing:

1. we have reports at a cost of 90$ per report.... not too high ???
2. we have specific reports packages / bundles, at a fairly low prices...

We have updated our pricing on the web site, perhaps you have reviewed us before that date... because we DON'T get a pricing issues with our customers, please check our site again,

Many thanks
